Zifi 200 Tablet - Precautions & How to Use

Before using Zifi 200 Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Overdosage of Zifi 200 Tablet

  • Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects. Questions - Zifi 200 Tablet

Zifi-200 contains Cefixime as an active ingredient. It is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefixime is classified under Pregnancy Category B.

Research studies showed, reproduction studies performed in rats and mice at doses up to 400 times the human dose, reported no evidence of impairment to the fetus due to Cefixime. No adequate and well-controlled studies are present in pregnant women. Animal reproduction studies do not always show an accurate human response, so this drug should be taken during pregnancy only if clearly prescribed by your doctor.

Pregnant women should take Zifi-200 only under the supervision of their Gynecologist or Physician.
