Tussin DMr Syrup is used for Cough, Catarrh, Temporarily relief of cough caused by common cold, Flu, Or other conditions, Running nose, Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion, Acute sore throat and other conditions. Tussin DMr Syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Tussin DMr Syrup contains Ambroxol, Cetirizine, Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine as active ingredients.
Tussin DMr Syrup works by promoting mucus clearance, having anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and local anaesthetic effects; blocking histamine that is produced during an allergic rejection; decreasing activity in the part of the brain that causes coughing; reducing the phlegm in the air passages; constricting the blood vessels results in decreasing the flow of blood thus relieves nasal congestion;

Tussin DMr Syrup - Precautions & How to Use

Before using Tussin DMr Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Overdosage of Tussin DMr Syrup

  • Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects.
