Supradyn is used for the treatment of healthy nails and hair, acid indigestion, skin diseases, vitamin D deficiency, reproductive function, pregnancy complications, high blood pressure, vitamin B12 deficiency, eye problem and anaemia. US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has specified vitamin D (D3 and D2) and nicotinamide as a pregnancy category C drug which indicates that animal studies show an adverse effect on the fetus, but there are no teratogenic studies of vitamin D and nicotinamide in pregnant women.
