Nurofen Period Pain Tablet is used for Relief of mild to moderately severe pain, Pain in body, Joints pain, Muscles pain, Back pain, Headache and other conditions. Nurofen Period Pain Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Nurofen Period Pain Tablet Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Nurofen Period Pain Tablet improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
  • Blocking the production of a prostaglandin that is released in the body during pain.
  • Broken down by the liver into morphine.
  • Stopping the sensation of pain by acting on peripheral nerves in the body.

Before using Nurofen Period Pain Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.).
