Yes, Ovral G may cause weight gain. Ovral G contains Ethinyl Estradiol and norgestrel which is a combination of estrogen which is a female sex hormone, and progestin which is used to cure the symptoms of menopause like vaginal dryness, irritation, burning, hot flashes and to prevent thinning of the bones (osteoporosis). Ovral G is a birth control pill used for contraception to prevent pregnancy.
