    Erytop Lotion - Precautions & How to Use

    Before using Erytop Lotion, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert.     Erytop A Gel is used for acne, pimples, keratosis pilaris, severe acne on face, spots, skin and skin structure infections and other conditions. Erytop Gel contains Adapalene Topical and Clindamycin Topical as active ingredients. Erytop A Gel works by lowering the microcomedone formation, treating the acne and keratosis pilaris, reducing the pustule and papule counts in acne.
    
    Clindamycin phosphate has a pregnancy category B rating. Reproduction studies have been performed in mice and rats using oral and subcutaneous doses of clindamycin hydrochloride, clindamycin phosphate, and clindamycin palmitate hydrochloride. These studies showed no evidence of teratogenicity. However, there are no well-controlled studies and data available that demonstrate a specific recommended dose in pregnant women. Animal reproduction studies are not always accurate predictive of human response. There is no evidence which states Adapalene cause problems in the baby if used during pregnancy.
    
    Women before using Erytop are advised to notify their gynaecologist if they become pregnant or intend to become pregnant during therapy or are breastfeeding an infant.
