    Enterogermina (Bacillus Clausii) is classified as probiotic. Probiotics, probably considered to be safe during pregnancy. However, because there are different kind of probiotics and inadequate research, probiotics cannot be declared completely safe.
    According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) and National Library of Medicine (NLM), probiotics are probably harmless because data shows probiotic supplements are rarely absorbed. In the research on probiotic use in pregnancy, there have been no connections found with probiotic use and miscarriages or malformations in newborn. Furthermore, a meta-analysis by Canadian researchers observed no link between probiotic consumption and the incidence of Caesarean section, gestational age or birth weight.
