Hypersensitivity to D.N.S Infusion is a contraindication. In addition, D.N.S Infusion should not be used if you have the following conditions:
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Dextrose injection without electrolytes should not be administered due to risk of pseudoagglutination of red cells
  • Liver cirrhosis
  • Patients with intracranial or intraspinal hemorrhage
  • Presence of delirium tremens if the patient is already dehydrated
  • Severe renal impairment

Overdosage of D.N.S Infusion

  • Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects. If you suspect that you or anyone else who may have overdosed of D.N.S Infusion, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home.
