What is Cipzox?

Cipzox Tablet is used for Muscle pain, Joint pain, Toothache, Lower back pain, Pain and stiffness due to muscle strains and sprains, Relief of the pain of osteoarthritis of knees and hands and other conditions. Cipzox Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Cipzox Tablet contains Chlorzoxazone, Diclofenac and Paracetamol as active ingredients.
Cipzox Tablet works by increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow across the skin, heat loss and sweating; depressing muscle reflexes; blocking the action of enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is required for the biosynthesis of prostaglandins;

Cipzox Tablet - Precautions & How to Use

Before using Cipzox Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Cipzox Tablet - Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Cipzox Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Cipzox Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
  • Hepatic impairment
  • History of asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypersensitivity to this drug
  • Treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft surgery

Overdosage of Cipzox Tablet

  • Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects.
