Acivir DT Tablet is used for Chicken pox, Chickenpox, Skin infection, Genital infections, Herpes simplex virus infections, Immunocompromised patients and other conditions. Acivir DT Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Acivir DT Tablet contains Acyclovir as an active ingredient.
Acivir DT Tablet works by inhibiting and inactivating HSV-specific DNA polymerases that prevents viral DNA synthesis.

Missing a dose

Overdosage of Acivir DT Tablet

  • Do not use more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects. If you suspect that you or anyone else who may have overdosed of Acivir DT Tablet, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home.
